Proliant 3000 freezing
I have a Proliant 3000 server with Windows 2000 SP4. The server has been freezing and it will not respond to ctrl+alt+del. The only option is to restart the server. Sometimes this will happen several times during the week and then at other times it will happen only once or twice a month. Recently it has been happening a lot. I called support and thus far they've replaced the RAID controller, backplane, raid cage, SCSI cable, daughter board and cache. Despite replacing these parts, the server is still freezing.

Re: Proliant 3000 freezing
I'm surprised they didn't have you tackle the memory or procs first. Touch base with support again and see how they feel about sending an engineer out for the memory and.or procs. Has the OS produced any dump files?

Re: Proliant 3000 freezing
I presume the engineer loaded the latest firmware when they upgraded the hardware?
