Proliant 3000 hp Support Pack for win2k help
I have just installed this pack and ever since then my screen flashes, and the cpu locks up for a few seconds. Is there a fix to this, or should I just uninstall it, and how would that be done. Thanks

Re: Proliant 3000 hp Support Pack for win2k help
Hello Henry,
If you have applied the latest Support Paq which is 6.20 then you might want to apply/back rev to 5.50B which is more stable for older Proliants.
Please also make sure to update the system bios as well as the firmware of the array controller if you have any.
Regards,

This is not true.
If you have updated to the latest PSP (6.2) for Win 2000, then I would definitely recommend the system config utility and the firmware on the server is updated as well.
What other items are installed in this machine (specifically memory and pci devices)? Also, when do these symptoms occur (in the OS)?

The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
