Proliant 3000 what board

Just wondering how to tell what gen of board i have.

Will it be labeled with a part number or something to identify it??

Hello Peter,
Yes the part Nos are on the system board are usually on one of the corners of the board. Just to help you out this server was shipped with three different kinds:
1: P300/333-System I/O Board with Subpan 306561-001

2: System I/O Board with Tray (PCI/ISA), (400, 450, and 500 MHz) 008099-101 179779-001
3: System I/O Board with Tray (PCI/ISA), (550 MHz only) 008099-102 146937-001
4: System I/O Board with Tray (PCI/ISA), (600 MHz only) 008099-103 155347-001

You can also post the Serial No of your Server and I can let you know as to which type you may have.
