Proliant 3000 will not startup
Hi there,
i have troubles with my Proliant 3000. If i plug in the power cord the display comes up. pushing the power button will start the fans and in the display comes up:
SYSTEM INIT
EISA-init
PCI AUTO CFG
all above are shown as ok, but then comes
MAIN MENU and nothing more will happen. no beeps no other system messages.
Has anybody an idea ?
Clearing the NVRAM also did not solve my problem.
kind regards,
Henner

Re: Proliant 3000 will not startup
Hello Henner,
Please check the power connectors on the system board. There is a small connector which usually when not connected properly causes that kind of behaviour. Also make sure that the RAM and CPU as well as all the cables are sitting in properly. Please reseat the memory board because that is another factor for the system not to boot properly.
