Has anybody done this and did it work fine, were there any pitfalls to look out for... and if so what version of SmartStart did you use.
If I need to go to Windows 2003, does anybody know whether this will work with a G2 server.
Thanks
kyris

Re: Proliant 350 G2

Re: Proliant 350 G2
Is your Server ML350 G2 ?? As I am getting conflicting information as to whether the G2 will take SmartStart 7.10 and Server 2003.
Thanks

Re: Proliant 350 G2
ProLiant ML350 G2 (1133-1400MHz ) & Microsoft Windows Server 2003 is listed at HP support @ http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/69_2588.html with all the drivers and support packs, so you will always be able to install it manually if necessary.
As for SmartStart 7.x assisted installation, support is for servers that have ROM-based setup utilities (RBSU). It would seem that your "retired" ML350 G2 is supported. View page 2 of the following support matrices.
