Proliant 370 G2
Hi,
I am about to add an additional raid controller to my ml370 server. I was wondering if like the proliant 350, it has both a primary and secondary pci bus? What do I need to look out for when adding the card, so that the server does not try and boot off the new raid array controller?
All responses greatly recieved.

Re: Proliant 370 G2
Hi Gavin,
The ML370 G2 does have BUS 2 & BUS 3.
BUS 3 is the 64-bit, 66Mhz hot-plug Tertiary designed for the 532 & 5300 Series Controllers intended for this Server. It utilizes Slot #1 & #2. The Controller installed in the lower Slot #1 will be the default boot device. If it is necessary for some other reason to have the boot Controller in Slot #2 then the Controller Order can be corrected in the RBSU (ROM Based System Configuration Utility) by pressing ???F9??? on POST.
BUS 2 has 64-bit size and 33Mhz speed. It utilizes PCI Slots #3, 4, 5, & 6.
