Proliant 380s and 4GB+ RAM

I am running Win2k3 ENT Server on my Proliant 380 with 5 gbs of ram. How come I'm only picking up 4.75/5 gb of ram? I have /PAE in the boot.ini file... If i have 3gb of ram in, windows registers 3, but if i have 5, windows only registers 4.75... where's that 0.25 going?

Hi Billy,

Which generation Proliant DL 380 is this.
This is a normal behaviour for servers having memory more than 4GB and also having Hot Pluggable PCI Slots and adapters installed.

Hot Pluggable PCI slots reserves memory in order to provide hot swapping of cards.
