Proliant 550
I want to upgrade the 18GB drives to 72GB. Is this possible? WOuld this part work? 232432-B22

Hi Ryan,
I presume you mean a Proliant 5500?
Do you have the optional WU2 SCSI drive cage installed as pictured here...?

Or are they the older cream coloured drives?
If you have the better drive cage, then in theory you could use the drive you linked to, but it may not be supported as it came out a long time after that server was made!
Also it would only work at WU2 speeds not WU3
