Proliant 5500 and USB2

I have a PL5500, with a belkin USB2 card ,with an Iomega 120GB ext HDD hanging from it.The problem is, when the server is rebooted , the Iomega drive is not detected, the drive needs to be power cycled, then the ext drive is picked up and installed as new hardware. The drive mappings are lost and have to be remapped. has anyone come across this problem? is it a compatibility problem between 5500 and USB card??? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello Paul,
Please make sure that the system bios is uptodate and you have the lates system configuration utility run on the system. You can download the System configuration Utility from the following link:

If that does not help then it's definitely a compatibility issue.
