Proliant 5500 power supply and heat issues

Server stats:

4 P3 550's
2.6GB's of RAM
3 18.2 scsi drives (RAID 5)
1 power supply

problem:

I bought the server with two 550's and added two more today. I noticed that after a while the fans were working over-time and would slightly vary their "whir" sound. I placed my hand on the back of the server. hmmmm...it's really hot, time for some more fans. It was at that time I noticed the attention light was lit on the powersupply. It's green. I never looked to see if that light was on before the upgrade so I don't know if this is normal. I've got the lightbulb light and the exlamation light both green. Is that bad? Is my powersupply up to snuff?

I'm also concerned about the heat. I'm currently in the process of building a proper rack for it where it can be in a nice cool place. But right now I just need to cool it off. Does motherboard monitor support my server? Is there some other utility I can use to view the temperatures inside?

Thanks in advance

Hi Brandon,

The powersupply is ok, the lights really should be like they are.

About the heat, don't be afraid, if the server reaches overheat it will be self powered off.
