On HP web site it is said about my Proliant 6/450 XEON:

CAUTION: You cannot mix Pentium II Xeon (400/450MHz) processors with Pentium III Xeon (500MHz) processors

If I cannot mix, can I swap?

From looking at my Quick Reference Guides.... You can swap. The part number on the main board is the same for the P2 and P3 Xeons. You will have to change the switches to accomidate the new processors thou.

From part #'s, you can also use the same PPM's (processor power mofules) that you have in the server now.
