Proliant 5500
I have just bought a proliant 5500 with dual 400 mhz xeons. I do not get video and there is two long beep codes at post. I have disabled onboard video and tried a couple of other video cards. Any suggestions.

Re: Proliant 5500
This could be due to unsupported DIMMs or bad DIMMs?

Re: Proliant 5500
Marlow, I am in the exact situation with a little bit more of a problem. I bought a Proliant 5500 and I can't get video either. However there seems to be a connection problem. Power does not flow to the front drives because they just light up when the server is turned on and after that, the drives don't spin at all but I get to see the other cards with the lights on. I don't believe that the video is the problem. Give me a call 909-890-9160 I am in San Bernardino CA 92408. I have a technician assigned to this project maybe he can speak with you.
