Proliant 6000 addProcessor(s)
I've got a Proliant 6000 with one 200MHz (66MHz front side bus, 512KB Level-2 cache, PGA). I have room for 3 more. The HP site wants 1300.00 + change for 1. Benjamin Hill was good enought to point me at an awesome deal on a power supply for this system. Saved me over $500. Was wondering if anyone knew of a deal for this processor and heat sink.
Thanks in Advance,

Re: Proliant 6000 addProcessor(s)
www.computersurplusoutlet.com If you buy 2 or more CPUs they will even match the stepping for you. Most of the processors are pulls from other systems but the price is right. Good luck.

Re: Proliant 6000 addProcessor(s)
Slow down. Go to Ambry.com. Check for part number 289749-001. $250. This is a local company (Dallas) I have order from before with success.
