Proliant 6000's

I have worked on two of these in the past year -one just changing a memory backplane and the other changing the I/O board ,both servers were the Pentium Pro types and both servers failed completely after these components were changed and all fault led's were present on the i/o board i tried looking this up on the compaq site but all I found was a miscellaneous error which could be anything,after changing several components both servers worked o.k.

Any one had this before/or know whats going on ?.
