Proliant 6400R - Power Supply Problem

The follow problem has occurred on our Proliant 6400R server. Which developed this problem over a weekend after many months of problem free up-time.

Using "R" = Red, "O" = Off and "G" = Green for LED colors

1. Found in this state
Front Panel
(near Power Switch)
(3 LED's from left to Right)
RGO
2x Redundant Power Supplies
Supply1 Supply2
Top O O
Bottom G G

2. Depressing Power Switch
Front Panel
(near Power Switch)
(3 LED from left to Right)
RGO
2x Redundant Power Supplies
Supply1 Supply2
Top G G
Bottom G G

3. 2nd Depression Power Switch
Front Panel
(near Power Switch)
(3 LED from left to Right)
OGG
2x Redundant Power Supplies
Supply1 Supply2
Top G G
Bottom G G

The machine appears to start booting with no video or POST bleeps for 2 - 3 seconds before reverting to state 1

All internal status LED are green. I have re-seated all cables. Used known to be working power cables and outlets. Have re-seated all internal components by stripping down and re-building machine.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this problem. What does the red LED (1st front panel LED from left) indicate? My guess power supply?

Interestingly RED is not an option. Could it be AMBER?

Thanks Ron for the reply,

I have looked at this chapter, assuming it is amber (visibly its red). This state is described as standby.

Any ideas as to why it should revert to standby after attempting boot as described in my earlier question?

You mention all internal LED's are "green", but on the 6400 all the interlock LED's should be off. If they are all on, it indicates failed memory board.
