I recently bought a 6400r proliant off ebay. It has 2 500mh xenons and 2 gigs of ram. When I plug it in the power light (light bulb) and inter-lock light are both amber. THe fan light is not on because none of the fans are running. On the system board one of the leds in the inter-lock bank are amber. It is labled as "misc" Does anyone know what this amber misc led is telling me? I can't seem to find anything that would prevent the server from booting with the case off, though I've tried it with the case on too. Any help would be appriciated.

Re: Proliant 6400r wont boot
Do you have terminator processors boards in the unused processor slots?

Re: Proliant 6400r wont boot
Thanks for the help. I ended up just ripping the whole thing apart and I found a loose IDE cable on the system board. I shoved it back in and now it works perfectly. Thanks again.
