Proliant 6500 doesn't cpmplete post and 1850r will not run smartstart 5.50

I am going to run a bios flask on the 1850, this might fix thethe 6500 will not run the floppy for a bios flash, no video during post. I changed the system partiton ad changed the boot order to the 2hd 1st, since that time the server has not posted. I hve removed eberything all ram all hdd's al pci and all controllers, one powersupply and 2 fans, it still will not post. any ideas?
