I have a Proliant 800 server which does not give any indication during bootup on how to get into the Bios setup, what key would i need to gain access.

Re: Proliant 800: Bios setup
Hi,
The key you need is F10, but it only works if you have a System Configuration partition on your hard drive. This server did not have any ROM Based Setup Utility (usually invoked by F9). The SCU was stored on a special partition on the boot drive. If you don't have it you can still run SCU from 4 diskettes which can be created by Diskette Builder utility from the SmartStart CD. Just insert SmartStart into any computer running Windows and Diskette Builder will autostart. The first of 4 diskettes you will create is bootable.
Regards,
