Proliant 800 IDE interface
We bought a Compaq Proliant 800 600 MHz, and the system seems to work fine except for the IDE controller. Even with diffeent cables and different CD-ROMS / hard drives, the system does not seems to detect anything. Is there a way to enable / disable IDE controller?

Re: Proliant 800 IDE interface
Hi,
solution will be :
To resolve this issue, ensure that the Cable Select/Master/Slave jumper located on the back of the CD-ROM is set to Cable Select (jumper between C and S). The connector labeled System Board should be securely attached to the system board, and the CD-ROM should be attached to the connector labeled Drive 0.
Regards,
Prashant S.
