Proliant 800 P14 shutdown/re-start

A 18 GB hard drive was installed and a clean install of Windows 2000 Server was installed and all went well.

The problem is that when the system is powered off it does not start up as it did with a 4 GB hard drive without using the Compaq Smart Start CD to be able to use the ctrl-alt-delete option for W2K.

Plus the system always re-sets the bios clock to the bios date and time and does not keep time from a re-set before shutting the system down. The battery is a brand new one and was installed by an HP service center.
