Proliant 800, not keeping the time...
Is there any other fix for a proliant 800 that is not keeping the time when it is powered off besides replacing the motherboard? The price for the motherboard is more than the computer is worth. I already have and external battery connected to the motherboard. It is not keeping any type of time with the external battery taken off.

Re: Proliant 800, not keeping the time...
Hello Anthony,
Usually the only choice you have is to attach the external battery because the button cell is soldered on the system board. If you still have any issue by connecting the external battery then the solution would be to have the system board replaced.
