Proliant 800 slow shutdown on Windows 2000

I own a PROLIANT 800 PII/350MHz (P14) server with 512 MB RAM with last BIOS (4.15 Rev A) + COMPAQ Smart 2SL RAID board.

OS system is Win2K SP3 Server English + MS Exchange 2K SP3.

When I request it to shutdown. It takes more than 10 minutes. The problem appears since I migrated from NT4.

The PROLIANT is connected to an UPS ; i am expecting, like in the past, a shutdown in less than 2 minutes.

Do you have any idea. Thanks a lot for your help.

Re: Proliant 800 slow shutdown on Windows 2000

i'm quite sure this is a timeout from exchange, not from hardware.
There is a registry key in W2K to minimize this timeout, but i do not remember the exact key. You will have to search in Microsofts Knowlegdebase or hopefully anyone else can tell us where to find it.
