Proliant 8500/DL760

Does anyone know why I have to set CPU corrected in RBSU when installing new processors received from Compaq/HP ?

I had to do this with 5 processors yesterday, otherwise they showed up as failed during POST.

I installed 3 processors that we had in stock and they recognized with no errors.

This is the way the system is designed. I would think it has to do with termination on failed or empty slots.
