Proliant 8500R
Just acquired a surplus 8500R server and when I push the on button it displays on the lcd panel the error message LCD error 007. Any one know how to fix this problem or what the problem is, could it be a hardware problem? Thanks

Re: Proliant 8500R
I only had this problem once with an 6500.
(But I can't remember the error code). The machine did not start. The problem was, that the cable between mainboard and LCD was disconnected. May be it is similar.
