Proliant BL Blade Server Chassis
I need to know, along with the CU, on the back chassis of the blade server, there are RJ45 connectors. There is one each on the top right and left w/ 10 connections, then two on the bottom left and right w/ 6 connectors. Which ones are for the iLO connection? There does not seem to be any way to distinguish the connectors apart.
Thanks

Re: Proliant BL Blade Server Chassis
If you are trying to "jack in" to one specific iLO, the port on the front of the blade is the preferred way to do that. Otherwise, all of the ports on the patch panel in the back are assumed to be connected to a switch, and it won't matter which is which.
You can find more information about the passthrough and the switches, including diagrams, from
http://www.hp.com/servers/proliant --> ProLiant BL --> p-Class --> BL20pG2 --> Support and Documents --> "ProLiant BL p-Class Interconnect Overview Whitepaper"
The exact info you want is on page 7.
