Proliant DL 140 G2 SCSI (Disk Setup)
Before install RHEL 3.0 or 4.0, I need to setup SCSI disks, usually with LSL Logic SCSI controller there is a Ctrl-C to setup SCSI disks, on this version of MPT Bios, there is not... So disks are not detected by the mptscsih driver.
I've not found any information, any documentation about these scsi machines on HP web site.
P/N is 383503-001
MPT Bios is 5.05.16
HP system bios is 1.13
LSI 1030-IT rev 1032700 sync 320.0
I've tried RHEL 3.0 u3, u5 and u6, RHEL 4.0 u2
with and without HP 320 update driver disk available on HP web site
Perhaps I've missed some informations, thanks in advance for your time and your help. Have a nice day.
Eric

Re: Proliant DL 140 G2 SCSI (Disk Setup)
SmartStart unsupport DL140G2. SCSI models ship with a SCSI adapter in the PCI-X low-profile slot. Look here for HP Single Channel U320 SCSI G2 Host Bus Adapter user guide http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManualā©=en&cc=uk&docIndexId=179111&taskId=101&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=437332
