Proliant DL 20 - INSTALL VMWARE WITHOUT SD CARD
Hello, i purchased a Proliant DL 20 with 2 disk 1tb, for raid 1 with onboard raid B140i.
i would like install pfsense 2.3 with or without vmware Esxi.
do i need a sd card for install vmware? is better than ssd? can i used a ssd disk?
could i install vmware without sd card?
kingston's sd card run in a DL 20? or only hp's sd card??

Yes, you can install VCenter(Vmware) without a sd card. You may use a solid state drive, but that is overkill. SD cards are preferred because VCenter is relatively lightweight (around 500-1000mb to install). It's all about using your resources the most efficiently. The make of the sd should not matter as long as they are formatted the same.
