Proliant DL 320 SATA

Hi at all. Sorry for my English but I'm italian.

We've bought some Proliant ML 320 with SATA Backplane.
Is possible to use other disks instead HP ones?
We want to use some 320GB SATA disks but we haven't the chassis need for inserting the disks in the server. The spare part number (353042-001) refer to the whole disks not to the chassis only.

Re: Proliant DL 320 SATA

Why not. You can insert SATA disk to the HP chasis and use it.

Re: Proliant DL 320 SATA

Ok, but where can i buy the hp sata chassis?
Is it sold only with the whole disk?
Or there is also a part number with only the chassis?
We don't want to buy chassis+80GB maxtor disk but only the chassis. Is it possible?

Don't know where you can get the drive tray.
