Proliant DL 380 G3 - 64 bit Windows ?

We have several DL380 G3 and G4 servers, can any of these be used with Windows server 2003 or 2008 in a 64-bit install?

G4 support 64-bit, we run windows 2003 64-bit on G4 servers

I don't sure about G3

no G3 does not support W2003 x64 neither W2008 x64

Dumb question, but if this is the case, why is this when there are 64bit processors available for the DL360 G3? If you install these procs is it just a waste as it still won't work?
