Proliant DL 380 G4 Storage Server - Service Release 5.6 after SP2?
Hi all,
I'm quite new to Windows 2003 Appliance Edition as found on our Proliant DL380 G4.
I've just installed Service Pack 2 for Windows 2003 using the HP supported tool. All went well - tested the server, put back into production.
However - i've just found out there are "Service Releases" for the HP Storage Servers. I've discovered our server is on release 5.5 - and that there are release 5.6 and 6.20 to install.
Question is - i've already installed windows 2003 service pack 2 - will it cause any damage to the server if I install service release 5.6 then 6.20?
Obviously i'd like to get back on track with using the service release discs rather than jumping ahead with the patches.
any help greatly appreciated.
best regards,
Adam.
