Proliant DL140 G1 IDE RAID
Hello,
I've recently purchased a DL140 G1 (second hand) and it didn't come with any documentation or reference material. From what I have read I will need the original CD that came with the server in order to setup an IDE Raid 1 Array?
I read somewhere else that Raid 1 is the default behaviour of the DL140, however I don't think this is the case?
Can anyone please provide me a with a link to either download an ISO for the disc or possibly where I could purchase a copy from? It would be handy to know what I am actually looking for as so far my search has turned up nothing.
I also have an ML530, I tried Smart Start but as other threads have mentioned the DL140 isn't supported.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Dave

Dave,

Re: Proliant DL140 G1 IDE RAID
Hi James,
I am using IDE drives. I have installed SBS 2003 no problems, however my worry is that It's only gone onto 1 drive and the other drive is sat there are un-used space.
I am affraid I do not know what you mean by "EMBEDDED" drivers?
