Proliant DL360 BIOS reset
Hi,
The DL360 is booting up and freezing at the logo screen. I have been attempting to reset the BIOS by many different methods. The service manual only states how to put the unit into maintanence mode via the #6 jumper on the SW2 jumper set. I am unable to find any method of booting the unit past the COMPAQ PROLIANT screen. Is there anyway i can get past this?
Thanks
Koshi Le

Re: Proliant DL360 BIOS reset
Koshi, I have a "problem-child" DL360-G2 that won't boot at all, after a CPU upgrade. Get a system-board LED amber light on CPU1...on a known-good CPU. Just recently upgraded BIOS to current and upgraded ILO to current (1.82). My question is: SW2 on motherboard only has 4 toggles, but you mention the #6 jumper of the SW2 jumper set. Am I looking in the wrong place? I also need to get this unit into "maintenance mode" to try and figure out why the CPU is reporting "failed." Any help you or others can give, is greatly appreciated!
