Proliant DL360 G10 KVM (LevelOne KVM-1611) black screen
Hello,
we have trouble with our new HP Server and our KVM Switch.
We get no video signal respectively only a black screen:
Tried so far:
- Updated Firmware to latest version U32 v1.36 (02/14/2018)
- Changed video cable
- Used cable from an other server which definitely works
- Changed BIOS Settings (Embedded Video Connectin to "Always Enabled")
If i use an other external monitor, directly connected, Mouse and Keyboard over KVM work, but monitor with kvm stays black (after switching back)..
Kind regards
Marc

Re: Proliant DL360 G10 KVM (LevelOne KVM-1611) black screen
Hi,
Just to make sure if ProLiant Gen10 server is compatible with LevelOne KVM-1611.
Have you tried with other ProLiant Gen10 models with this switch?
Have you tried with other ProLiant Gen9 or Gen8 models with this switch?
May be you need to check with Level1 company for compatibility questions.
Thank You!
I am a HPE employee

Re: Proliant DL360 G10 KVM (LevelOne KVM-1611) black screen
Hi Suman_1978,
thanks for your reply. Yes, Proliant G9 just work fine, but G10 Servers don't. We only have the two new ordered G10 Servers, so i can't test with a third one.
I will contact LevelOne Support, maybe they have a solution. But do you really think there is a incompatibility with these basic things like vga video output?
Kind regards
Marc
