Proliant DL360 G2 Power Up Problem

If the server is powered down for a few days, it powers up ok.

If I reboot the server, the screen stays blank and nothing appears to happen.

Following the diagnostic flow chart, I get to Check port 85 codes. How do you do this on a DL360 G2.

Hello Mark,

Try clearing the NVRAM by using the System maintenance switch on the System board.

SW6(I think..) .. please refer user documentation.

Check to see which hardware components other that the original configuration you have on the server, Like 3rd party HW or extra memory or extra PCI cards. Try removing them one by one and test to see which one of them is causing this.

I've tried clearing the nvram and removing all addon hardware and still have the issue.

I have the exact same issue on my DL380 after smart array, nic and video update.

any solution??
