Do we have any documentation for :
- Is there any customer sharable documentation for the threshold levels listed for the iLO temperatures?
- Do the тАЬCautionтАЭ and тАЬCriticalтАЭ thresholds ever change, or are they permanent pre-defined values related to each model of server?
- I have iLO access to a few servers of this model, but do not see the тАЬCriticalтАЭ threshold listed for the CPU. Is that normal?
- What is the expected results when a CPU temperature threshold hits the Caution level? Critical level?

SolutionHi sir
1) HPE ProLiant Gen9 Server Extended Ambient Temperature Guideline - view page no 13
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?sp4ts.oid=7271259&docId=emr_na-c04513664&docLocale=en_US
2) The тАЬCautionтАЭ and тАЬCriticalтАЭ thresholds are predefined for all server models
3) Server might reboot or shotdown if CPU temperature threshold hits the Caution or Critical level

Re: Proliant DL360 Gen 9 temperature thresholds
I received an error more than x times that said your temperature is about 121 Celsius or something else and it force my g9 dl380 hp server to shutdown every day
At first, every 15 days
But now every day
The errorsaid: sensor 8 location system
Could you please help me or guide me to solve this problem?
I have a PACS server on it and some radiologist connect to this server.

Re: Proliant DL360 Gen 9 temperature thresholds
It would be much better you open your own thread or better a support call at HPE support.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Proliant DL360 Gen 9 temperature thresholds
First of all I don't know how to open a support ticket for my problem and after that I think it won't help me.
I'm from Iran and you cannot help us because of sanctions.
So I will be thankful if you could just tell me where is the location of sensor 8?
Regards
