Hey peeps,
I'd like to install an additional NIC-adapter for the above server. The server has already:
1x HP FlexFabric 10Gb 2-port 533FLR-T Adapter and
1x HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331i Adapter #4
installed and got a second CPU.
I just need 4 more ports but I'm not sure which one of the following adapters is the right one for me:
647594-B21 HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331T Adapter
811546-B21 HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366T Adapter
665240-B21 HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366FLR Adapter
629135-B21 HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR Adapter
Slots 1 -3 are currently free.
Whats the difference between those 4 and which is the right choice?
Best regards
Christian

SolutionHi,
You can have only one FlexFabric adapter and i hope you dont want to replace 533FLR-T, so stay with that,
for additional 1GB quad port adapter you can choose either of the following:
647594-B21 HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331T Adapter
811546-B21 HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366T Adapter
331T is slightly older and compatible with few G7 and Gen8 server as well.
366T is designed for Gen9
Regards,
Sudhir
