Proliant DL360 with 2 SCSI Disks - Fedora4

Hi,
I have HP Proliant DL360 with 2 SCSI Disks.
I am installing Linux Fedora Core4 and I need setup so that disks will be mirrored 1:1.
How can I do it?
Do You have some manual (step by step) ?
Thanks
Peter

Hello Peter,

If you are installing FC because its free, i would suggest to try FC6 which is the latest stable release.Unless its module specific.

If the disks are connected to a smart array controller, during POST after the controller is detected, there would be an option to enter the controller BIOS by pressing F8.

Not all controllers give this option.

If you are able to access the controller BIOS,create a Raid 1 array and a logical volume(hardware raid).

Once done, boot off the FC4/6 media and it should see the array and the logical volume during the partition screens.
