Proliant DL360p G8 Connect to HP R5000 Managed by HP Powerchute
We have a HP Proliant DL360p Gen 8 server connected to a HP R5000 UPS, with ERM.
The Proliant server has HP's Power Protector client installed, to manage the UPS and shutdowns etc...
The UPS and ERM show around 9 hours of runtime, however, the Power Protector software only allows a maximum configurable value of 9999 for "Shutdown inititated after:", which means that the server will shut down even though the UPS has around 5 or 6 hours of runtime remaining?
Is there a better way to manage the server shut down as the HP Power Protector software seems limited in the amount of battery runtime it allows?
