A quick follow-up. All appears well and remains stable. I think this may well have resolved the issue. Hopefully this is of some use to someone else!

Hi, Could anybody help:
Did the setting by the switch port to Auto-negotiate fully solve the issue in the long term.
Reason I am asking is that we have seen this occuring after 16days...its completely random 3d/8d/12d/16d
As we have the combination of :
Windows OS: Windows2016
Server: HP ProLiant DL380 Gen 8
Nic card: HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR Adapter
NIC driver: HP Broadcom 1Gb Driver for Windows Server x64 Editions
