Proliant DL380 G4 - reconfigure array

I have a DL380 G4 with (6) 36GB SCSIs setup as RAID5 w/online spare. I need to remove the online spare to use on a different server. Is there any way to reconfigure the array to just RAID5 without disrupting the server?

Of course it it possible. You need to use ACU (Array Configuration Utility), and in Spare Management remove the spare from the Array.
