Re: Proliant DL380 G5 Locking Up?
Although not Proliant's we've been having this on a whole load of other (make of ) servers over the past couple of months - all of which have been running ESXi (4.x)
One of our servers hung after exactly a week and we started to get the same errors in event log at exactly the same time for two weeks running.
Initially our thoughts were Trend av as it has been notoriously unstable but we had it on a machine that was not running Trend. Upgraded VMWare to the latest versions last week and we've been running over a week without the crash - our symptoms were able to ping the server, unable to rdp, log in via console or connect to network shares remotely.

Re: Proliant DL380 G5 Locking Up?
Have you ever solved this issue somehow? I seem to have the same problem, HP DL380 G5, error in the eventlog 5612 WMI and a server being hung up after some weeks. Restarting it helps temp. and after some weeks it happens again.
Thanks.
Marcel
