Proliant DL380 G5 OS not supported

Hi All,

i have a proliant DL380 G5 Server, i can read from the smartStart CD that it only supports Novell Netware and microsoft windows OS, is there anyway i can make it support RedHat  linux OS ??. may be by installing new firmware !??.

We have DL380G6 servers, about 2,500 in total, all running flavors of RHEL so I am not sure what that message means ... you can always check the release notes and make sure your RAID controller is support, but I really don't see how it isn't
