Proliant DL380 G6 Raid level

I'm running a DL380 with ESX and would like to check my RAID level without rebooting. I can log in ilo and see the status of the disks (1 failed) but I cannot find the raid level or setup.

HP Array configuration utility is of no use on a virtual Windows server, which makes sense, but what else can I try?

Is there a way to check this, or do I really have to reboot and go into the bios of the raid controller?

Thanks in advance

Re: Proliant DL380 G6 Raid level

If you have the System Management Homepage installed, you should be able to view the RAID level through it.

If you only have the HP management drivers installed, you can query RAID information through SNMP, but you'll need the CPQIDA-MIB to interpret the result.

I believe the SNMP OID you need is .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.3.1.1.3.

The MIB files are available at:

http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/mibkit.html

The MIB kit packages are nominally for HP SIM, but as the MIB file format is standard, you can use them with most SNMP utilities.
