Proliant DL380 and Multi-Modem

I recently installed a Equinox Mufti-modem on my Win2000 Server system with active directory running. I have 2 NIC's, one connected to a leased line for interned access, and one dedicated for local network traffic. The multiport modem installed without problems, but for some reason RRAS is writing corrupt data from the hardware to the system logs. It tells me that the account has been disabled, and the user name is represented by symbols in the event log. All configurations for RRAS are correct, so I'm just curious if this is a result of compatibility problems with the Proliant and the modem.... has anyone else experienced a similar problem? I have had various problems with serial control devices and using the correct PCI port in the Proliant before. Currently the added NIC is using the primary PCI port.
