Proliant DL380 onboard devices?

Just a quick question asking if other devices (ie. dvd burner) can fit into theHD bays in the DL380 servers?

Generation for DL380 ?

G1 you have two optional Bay for CD / DVD
G2 and Up pull CD out and use Slim line DVD
HDD bay's can't be used (only Bay 5 for Tape Drive)
