Proliant DL380G5, does not start, 2 amber lights on power supply
Hi,
There was a general fault on the power supply, and today both of my Proliant DL380 G5 servers do not start.
The strange thing is I had only connected one power supply so the spare power supply unit wasn't been used at all. However now even when I connect both of my power supplies to the power source the servers do not start.
What might be the problem? Can any1 point me to a direction?
Regards,

Re: Proliant DL380G5, does not start, 2 amber lights on power supply
Hi Murat,
There is a known issue with certain power supplies on the Server. There was a advisory out some time back to identify which PSU were faulty.I would replace both with the spare p/n on the PSU label unless you have a nother Server to test them in.
