Hi,
I have upgraded ilo firmware to 1.80 (was 1.78), after that fans are extremley loud all the time.

Re: Proliant DL380G6, fan at max & loud after ILO2 firmware upgrade
Thanks, wobbe.
Though I upgraded bios also, it did'nt help.
I thought upgrading other available firmware, (that was network and cd-rom) would'nt help.
so finally what helped - in bios advance - thermal options - optimal cooling
was set when I had problem with loud fans and since it seemed normal choise ( there are 2 choises "optimal cooling" and "increased cooling" it was last thing to try)
I selected increased cooling and THEN fan got quiet.
When I put back "optimal cooling", fans where loud again.
So I left it with "increased cooling" ( which meant fan's were on normal volume level) and went home.
Today morning , 12h later, put it back to "optimal cooling" and it's quiet now with that.
