Works "correctly" is different than tested and supported.
Where is the URL you checked?

And this is the link of DL385 G5p where there is not driver/firmware for P222:
I am a customer and i follow scrupulously, for my configuration or troubleshooting HP documentation and i apply their advice. Thanks

Re: Proliant DL385 G5p and smart array controller P222
Hi,
The P222 isnt a supported product for the G5p but this does not mean that it wont work in your server, it just means HP support services will not offer you end user support for this combination.
I'm using a P420 in my DL585G2 with no issues, I just cant call upon HP support if a drive incompatability arises with the combination.
The only recourse for support is to the website and these forums both of which you aleady appear to use properly.
Happy comuting.
Regards
Mark

>this is the link of compatibility controller P222
Then as Mark and I have said, it isn't officially supported.
