Re: Proliant DL580 & w2003 ent edition
to get all Procs recognized all 16 you need DataCenter Edition
http://download.microsoft.com/download/c/d/4/cd439e15-b32c-49d5-9308-d6eef68aa88e/WS03%20R2%20EE%20Overview.doc
Enterprise only support 8 Procs

Re: Proliant DL580 & w2003 ent edition
Can I install into Proliant DL580R05
3pts 146GB 10K SFF SAS 2.5" HotPlug Single Port HDD (For use with SAS Models servers and storage systems)
And configure it like:
first + second HDD = RAID 1
Trird HHD = Stand Alone
Is to be working this configuration?

Solution133-MHz or faster processor for x86-based PCs; 733-MHz for Itanium-based PCs; up to eight processors supported on either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version
It supports up to 8 physical processors. Windows 2003 ent ed does not bother about cores in a processor.
You can easily install the OS without any issues. Because I have.

Yes you can create RAID 1 with 2 146 GB HDD and RAID 0 with 1 146 GB HDD.
RAID 0 will act like a stand alone non redundant hdd but i would recommend RAID 5 since you have 3 HDD's.
