Proliant Dl 580 G7 SPP

In one of our client has few DL 580 G7 servers and need to update the firmware, but it's not under warranty and also the HP support will not be there i hope for G7. is it safe to update the SPP.

he's running with Windows 2012

If the warranty is expired. You can't download spp.

Dear Erdogan,

I had few other servers in my warranty list by using that i had downloaded the 2017 release and also the porst production ,but when i tried he post production it doesn't wotk but the 2017 was updated and got deployed success. but after the Firmware upgrade around 5 Hrs later the Server failed to communicate with the core Switch. i want to know is it because of the Firmware Update or may be any other issues. Kindly judge.
